When a company registers a fully owned company abroad it looks as if the company is prospering, but in our case it is more like a move to greener pastures with hopes of survival.
For Dome as a racing constructor, getting contracts is equivalent
to creating something out of a complete void. This requires a lively
imagination, careful planning and a large amount of energy to make
the project take shape.
In short, just waiting will not get us any work. Having stayed here
for a long time we sometimes wonder whether we are really needed here.
So this is to inform you that we have registered a company, Dome Cars
Limited, in the UK dreaming of a place where work just comes pouring
in.
We have been looking for a base there for about a year and just ran out of time. We have an office in London which we shall use as base to continue our search.
As for staff, Mr. Tadashi Sasaki director of DOME || NEWSwill also
act as managing director and shall be appointing the new managing
director in about a year.
To succeed as a racing car constructor goes without saying, but our
ultimate goal is to race a Dome made chassis in the F1 Grand Prix.
Prodrive, Pi and TWR were all extremely small companies when we were
still racing in the Le Mans 24 Hours.
If we are competent enough we believe that we will be given fair judgement.
As there are people on our staff that cannot leave Kyoto, the center
of development will remain there. We have decided to look upon this
as a not too bad appeal for Japanese Technology. We have decided not
to rush things and will work steadily toward our goal. We thank you
for your support.
