Proposal of "Assembling Vehicle Competition"
Children these days do nothing but TV games and they cannot even finish assembling a plastic model even they try to create something. If they go out, they just go into a game arcade and it makes me worried as I think they may lose interest in creation. However creation must be a human instinct as we see so many passionate constructors participating in events or contests such as flying bird contest, mileage marathon or solar powered car contests etc. with their own distinct creation.
Development of racing cars must be one of the object which inspires human's creative mind most but there are quite few who actually try to because the technical level may have gone too far and there are no such events where beginners can cultivate their skills.
So why don't we make preparations for an event - it doesn't cost much, easily tackled, technical capability is competed safely among participants from all over Japan - I came up with the concept and named it as "Assembling Vehicle Competition".

It is a sort of mini-4-wheel drive for adults - parts for the vehicle are based on certain regulations, and they are all available from a catalogue (customer will have a range of choices of several makers when choosing a part). Race participants will purchase what they need or create parts of their own to assemble a vehicle.
For the safety, the race will be carried out by time trial style -- only one vehicle runs at a time. The race will be held at Motegi North course or Suzuka South course to compete a lap time.
It will satisfy people's creativity or joy of creativity as well as fighting spirit. This plan is beneficial because people can learn about real motor racing and this will improve technical capability of Japanese motor racing in the future while people enjoy the pleasant event.
You may understand if you read the comments written in the proposal carefully. I think the current woeful state of Japanese motor racing industry roots from the immaturity of the industry, which is building racing car-oriented. I came up with this concept as I truly hope to create an environment where the young are encouraged to learn.
As the project has to be in a certain scale to start with, I am hoping to receive supports from car manufacturers but things are not going as I had planned. This project is halfway to be put on hold.
